Educational qualification 

The minimum Educational Qualification for ICAR – National Rice Research Institute Recruitment 2022 for the above posts Vacancies are as follows 

1.  Research Associate. (RA) : 

M.Sc in Agricultural Biotechnology / Biotechnology/ Life Science with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship /Associate ship / Training as circulated vide 

OR

Ph.D. in Agricultural Biotechnology/ Botany/ Life Science.

2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) : 

M.Sc. (Biotechnology / Agricultural Biotechnology / Botany / Life Science) with 4 years or 5 years of Bachelor’s Degree.

OR

Candidate having Post Graduate degree in Biotechnology / Botany /Life Science with 03 years Bachelor's degree and 02 years Master's Degree should have NET qualification with 2 years of research experience.

3. Young Professional ( YP ) :

M.Sc. agriculture with specialization in Plant Physiology / Plant Pathology / Microbiology from a recognized board / university

4. Skilled  office Staff ( SK ) :

10th with +2 Vocational or Diploma in agricultural subject with one (01) year of work experience in agricultural field work (should provide work experience certificate)

Age Limit

As per Odisha Agriculture Recruitment Official notifications age limit as on date of interview. 

1. For RA (male) - 40 years

     For (Female) - 45 years 

2. For SRF (male) - 35 years 

     For (Female) -  40 years 

3. For Skilled staff - 18 - 50 years
